Your Dalek blueprints are enclosed

BUY THE LETTERS OF NOTE BOOK: UK / US
From the production offices of the BBC in the early-1980's, we have a rather cute, and for some reason - to me at least - highly amusing letter informing an avid Doctor Who fan named Ronald that his request for Dalek blueprints had been successful. It's also a form letter, meaning the BBC must have been inundated with requests of a similar nature since the blueprints were initially released to the public, in 1973.

By the way, some Dalek blueprints can be found here.

Dear Ronald.

Thank you for your letter.

I have pleasure in enclosing the blueprints for constructing a Dalek. These plans were first released in 1973 therefore any costs are now out of date.

These plans are released in good faith and on the understanding that the constructed Dalek will be used only for personal uses. It must not be put to commercial use as the Copyright remains vested with the BBC and Terry Nation,

Best of luck!

Yours sincerely

(Signed, 'Carmel Maguire')
