Following the death of Nancy Spungen on October 12th, 1978, former Sex Pistols bassist Sid Vicious was arrested and charged with her murder. Whilst awaiting a trial which ultimately didn't take place, he was sent the following letter by a stranger.

DEAR SID:

Jesus can forgive you & help you if you really want it. And sing songs by Diana Ross.
Jesus loves you & we do too.
If we confess our sins God is faithful to forgive us our sins and to clean us of all unrighteousness.
Let not your heart be trouble if you believe in Jesus - Ye believe in God also.
